Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC)
Bluerise is dedicated to make OTEC a cost-effective, reliable source of baseload generation. Bluerise believes the right approach to get to full deployment is through pilot and demonstration projects.
Based on continuous research on generation of electricity by means of OTEC technology we develop complete system infrastructure and planning for OTEC deployment.
Bluerise concentrates its efforts on the optimization of the closed loop OTEC cycle for use either on-shore or off-shore.
Seawater Air Conditioning (SWAC)
Bluerise offers complete planning for deployment of SWAC installations. We work together with our partners on delivering complete environmental assesments, permitting, engineering of deep ocean pipe deployment and cooling distribution systems.
Taking advantage of available cold deep seawater for air conditioning enables significant energy savings up to 90%. Therefore, SWAC is a very attractive technology with a high capital ROI.
Desalination
Bluerise offers possibilities for fresh water production by means of innovative desalination techniques.
Either in combination with SWAC or OTEC systems, deep seawater thermal desalination systems can provide an economical source of fresh water.
